Can someone help me learn with my daughters hair? I’ve never had curly hair myself and nobody in my family has curly hair. So idk where to begin to take care of her hair so it looks nice. When I brush her hair it gets very frizzy, I’ve tried looking it up myself but I I can’t find the same kind of curl pattern she has and I have no clue how to find her curl pattern
I just want to be able to teach her how to take care of her hair and how to style it herself so she knows how beautiful it is

Out of all the cool stuff that mythbusters ever shot on high speed camera, shooting a soccer ball at 60mph out of a truck traveling 60mph is one of my favorites
Just look at it. It is the most perfect visual representation of Newton’s 2nd law of physics I’ve ever seen. The ball, which was shot out of a CANNON, drops straight down. Two equal and opposite velocities completely canceling each other out, leaving the soccer ball to drop to the earth with a net velocity of 0. Sir issac newton would be proud to tears of this gif.
And yet this “myth” is nothing more than basic physics at work. A 10 year old with an interest in science could have told us this is possible. 60mph in one direction minus 60mph the exact opposite direction is 0. Basic.
But what makes this so frieken cool is the fact that they went through all the trouble to actually demonstrate the invisible laws that govern the way our universe works. To get this shot both the soccer ball and the truck had to be moving at the exact same speed. Real world variables make that extremely difficult to pull off. It took them hundreds of attempts to get it right. They went through all that trouble to “prove” something we have known as fact for hundreds of years. And we get this amazing gif to watch as a result.
Mythbusters is incredible. Science is incredible. And the fact that this experiment in physics can be used in science classes for years and years to come to help children learn about physics is incredible.

Y’all, I’m over here DYING cuz Google suggested me this article about the crisis of backyard chicken keepers– which is that they love having chickens so much that they keep getting more, and then don’t know what to do with all the eggs.
Which I can see how this would be a problem, but it’s just so funny to me because they had interviewed this one guy who started off with 3 chickens, and then kept adding more and more, and eventually started donating the eggs to a local food bank, and at the end of the year when they wrote him a tax receipt, he discovered he’d donated over 400 dozen eggs.
Seriously, it was a whole article talking very seriously about how people are so into chickens that they just keep collecting them like pokemon and then have to “scramble” (their words not mine) to get rid of the eggs, because they weren’t even thinking of egg production, they just loved having chickens.
And while I may be over here laughing a bit too hard, honestly? Big Mood.
There’s a series called Dark Winds on AMC with the entire first episode up on AMC’s youtube channel for free. It’s called Dark Winds and its a supernatural crime thriller set in the Navajo nation in the 1970s with an all indigenous main cast. Extremely famous amazing indigenous actors! I highly recommend it to everyone it’s free on YouTube to at least watch and see if you like it!
Support indigenous arts!!! This is so so important for us to have amazing and unique stories on big networks. If they gain support more will happen!! I’ve never in my life seen something this big. It was always on the cheapest free cable networks and largely ignored as a whole. It’s about time native actors and media got the spotlight it deserves~
Watching the hbo show about candy Montgomery, it’s very clear that they wanted to make some story about how Candy was forced to be a stepford wife and attacked my her lover’s jealous wife and they wanted to believe her bullshit lie about self defense. But if that’s the story they wanted they should have made a completely fictional story instead. They were completely disgusting and disrespectful to the real victim and her family/children
The way they made Betty it seemed like they hated her and made her look like an unhinged women.
Candy tells her lawyer what she did and has a look of disgust(there where a few scenes that almost made me believe olsen is actually horrified and knows that Candy is evil, lied and got away with brutal murder but this show and every other interview proves otherwise, so maybe she’s just a shit actress)
The way the town all talks about how only a monster would do this and the speech the new pastor gave. I thought that was going somewhere about how the town did think this but than once their most popular citizen was the killer they all sent her cards of sympathy. But again it didn’t
Like they even show how she had sex with her husband just a few hours after she murders Betty! Like who would do that? If I had to take some someone’s life in self defense i certainly won’t be in the mood. Like this kinda shows Candy is a fucking psychopath
The worst part is so many of the Elizabeth Olsen Stan’s are now believing that Candy was innocent and it was self defense(idk how anyone can believe that hitting someone in the back of the head with an ax and than 40 more times in the face is sled defense(btw that is from candys own testimony. She’s a fucking monster who said she hates Betty for ruining her life and than fucking sushing scene while she got “recovered memory” and played it out like it’s a fucking scientific practice(like the fucking therapist used leading questions) it’s just the fact that the creators and Elizabeth actually believe this shit and the self defense story is what’s so fucking disgusting. Candy is an evil bitch and deserves to rot in prison the only reason she got away with it is because of popularity and the recovered memories craze at the time(which is apparently coming back????)
